I wanted a cooker that I could fry multiple things at once and when I I explained that Herm took it to another level the custom burners and being a lifelong Chiefs fan the details were something i didn’t expect to see the unit exceeded my expectations thanks for doing an excellent job
I have a barrel grill made by C and H 15 years ago and it’s still grilling. This company makes top notch grills, smokers and Friers. I am very satisfied with the product. Bar none C and H customs grills welding best in the business.

I had an outstanding experience with C & H Custom Grills & Welding and I highly recommend Herman to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship, excellent communication, and exceptional customer service. I was referred to Herman by one of my best friends (LaDonna) in Kansas City, Missouri, who spoke highly of C & H work. After our initial conversation, Herman took the time to show me several different deep fryer models and explain the options available. After looking everything over, I selected the fryer that I felt would be the best fit for our chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, Eta Sigma Chapter at Lincoln University. From the very beginning, Herman and C & H demonstrated speed and responsiveness. Whether I had a question about the fryer, the construction process, pricing, or delivery, they were accessible and responsive through both phone and email. That level of accessibility made a big difference, especially with me living out of town and have to provide a report to my fraternity brothers. Herman also demonstrated tremendous product knowledge. He didn’t just try to sell me a fryer; he took the time to explain the different models and help me understand what would work best for our chapter. His knowledge and willingness to answer my questions gave me confidence that I was making the right selection. Herman even went the extra mile and added one of our chapter shields to the fryers. He painted the poles purple, put gold in the wheels, and made the cut on and off values purple and gold to represent our fraternity colors. What really stood out to me was the empathy and patience Herman showed throughout the process. We were trying to have the fryer ready in time for Lincoln University Homecoming, and Herman understood how important that deadline was to us. He worked with us, kept us informed, and did everything he could to make sure we received the fryer when we needed it. Herman consistently kept me updated on the progress of building the fryer. I never felt like I was left wondering what was happening or when it would be completed. His communication throughout the process showed that he genuinely cared about making sure we were satisfied. Another thing I truly appreciated was how Herman worked around my schedule. Since I live out of town, coordinating the pickup in Kansas City, Missouri, and getting the fryer delivered to Jefferson City, Missouri, could have been challenging. Herman worked with my schedule and went above and beyond to make the entire process work. The price he gave me also fit within the budget I had established for our chapter. The payment process was simple, and C & H provided different payment options, making it convenient and easy to complete the transaction. But what impressed me most was the pride Herman put into the fryer. He went above and beyond to make this fryer one of his own. You can see the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the finished product. This wasn’t just another order to him, he treated it like something he wanted to be proud of as well. Because of the customer service and experience my fraternity brothers and I received from Herman and C & H, we look forward to building a long-standing partnership with the company. As a matter of fact, we are already in discussions about having a rotisserie barbecue grill made in the future.
